What you think about is important. The problem is that evil spirits or a mental illness can insert an agenda in the head and cause intrusive thoughts. Causing people to believe in a thought that is hazardous. Thoughts can be a result of self, soul, evil spirit, influences from environment, or friends/family that are victims. Wherever the thought comes from, the thought can be sinful. In Luke 2:35, Jesus Christ of Nazareth exposes sins that can come from the mind.

The mind is an easy place for sin to be hidden. In contrast, Jesus Christ of Nazareth encompasses light and truth. In Luke, it mentioned that, when Jesus Christ of Nazareth came to earth as human, the thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. Luke 2:35 says it: the sword of Christ will pierce your own soul, when God intends to do so. Jesus came to earth in human form and showed those who would listen that God sent him. He talked about not falling into meaningless traditions or falsehoods. Jesus was about faith and humility which cannot be tied to fear or shame.

True, genuine faith in Jesus Christ of Nazareth is rooted in humility; Colossians 2:6-7 says, So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

In scripture, faith in Christ is so amazing that a Canaanite woman groveled on the floor to tug on the Lord's garment so she could get healing, and she referred herself as similar to a dog that is fit to eat the scraps that come off a table. (Matthew 15: 21-28). This is what Christ paid attention to and gave grace/healing to. The humble.

Intrusive thoughts feel like uninvited guests at a party; appearing suddenly. It can get really bad and troublesome if they get a person to unite with their thoughts. Intrusive thoughts can leave individuals feeling uncomfortable and confused.

Understanding why this is happening and learning how to confront them can lead to mental, physical, and spiritual success.

Let's take a closer look at the nature of intrusive thoughts and observe actions to regain control over the mind.

Intrusive thoughts are instant and involuntary thoughts that can make individuals miserable. Often they revolve around fears, worries, stress, or anxieties. For instance, a person might be troubled by thoughts of committing an act they do not want to do. Intrusive thoughts cause discomfort and unease. They can prevent individuals from exerting their self. The worse thing to do is normalize intrusive thoughts.

The Importance of Recognizing What Is Happening

When these thoughts arise, it is crucial to recognize them for what they are. Looking at it on a Christian perspective, when evil spirits implant intrusive thoughts into the head, the intent is to damage the person as much as they can. Do not welcome these thoughts. Do not believe them. Do not trust them. Otherwise, they continue their hold on you.

Challenging the Intrusive Thoughts

After recognizing that these thoughts are actually intrusive thoughts, the next step is to challenge them. This involves asking critical questions.

Are they based on reality or your own exaggerated fears?

The late, Pastor Pamela Sheppard (1943-2024), taught me how to say proclamations against any presence of evil spirits.

Pastor Pam Sheppard developed deliverance counseling in a way that produces the fruit of freedom, healing, and the ability to overcome. The problem is that historically religious deliverance methods have become a mainstay of uncertainty. Unfortunately, it can become a way for demons and fallen angels to use deceived ministers to cause more havoc.

Deliverance counseling provides spiritual restructuring. The captive has to identify distorted thoughts. The deliverance worker teaches the captive to replace those thoughts with rational alternatives. Teach the gospel of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, expose evil spirits, and stay away from bad habits. For instance, if an evil spirit sends an intrusive thought that says “You are fat and stupid” what should you do? Reject it right away. Recognize it is not of you. Do not acquire their thought. No matter how much it may appear to be helping. They are not. It is a lie or a partial lie.

Snap Out of Delusions, Out of a Fake World, and Back Into Reality

The right deliverance counseling techniques cause individuals to get used to reality. Learn to focus on real environments instead of the fake thoughts spirit: for example stating what is real.

Creating a Supportive Environment

Deliverance counseling guided by faith in Jesus Christ of Nazareth makes it possible to be set free.

Seeking freedom from captivity is a good step in the right direction. If you want freedom, those intrusive thoughts should not be allowed to settle into the mind.

By applying strategies to confront intrusive thoughts: you're reclaiming your personal, spiritual path, and getting your mind back. The Lord, the Holy Spirit, and God intervenes during appropriate deliverance counseling. The road to challenging and overcoming intrusive thoughts requires resilience and patience.
